MALACOLOGICAL SOCIETY		An organized group of individuals (MALACOLOGISTS) dedicated to MALACOLOGY. Examples in the United States of America (USA) include: American Malacological Society (AMS; formerly the American Malacological Union, AMU) Conchologists of America (COA; technically only CONCHOLOGISTS, but this is definitely not the case!)
